Cow Horns Rwanda transforms discarded cow horns — post‑mortem agricultural waste — into exquisite luxury accessories. We intercept pollution, create green jobs, and honour the Inyambo cattle heritage.
Every piece tells a story of ethical sourcing, skilled craftsmanship, and climate‑smart manufacturing.
Every bracelet, ring, earring, and choker is traced from local sourcing hubs, sanitised, moulded, heated, and hand‑polished to perfection.
In partnership with our non‑profit branch, we train street youth, school‑leavers, and underemployed demographics into dignified climate‑smart careers.
Rooted in Rwandan tradition, we honour the long‑horned Inyambo cattle by transforming their horns from environmental waste into modern luxury.
From the streets of Kigali to international recognition — the resilience of Habiyaremye JMV.
Born third of six children, poverty forced a school dropout. Four months of homelessness in Kigali followed.
A Japanese mentor introduced horn manufacturing. By 2009, basic bracelets and rings were made. In 2010, a formal artisan cooperative formed.
After secondary school, JMV joined Digital Opportunity Trust, mastered startup scaling, and identified the massive cow horn waste supply gap.

Please read these terms carefully before using the Cow Horns Rwanda website or placing an order inquiry.
Cow Horns Rwanda ("we", "us", "our") operates this website to showcase upcycled luxury jewelry handcrafted from ethically sourced cow horn, and to tell the story of our artisans and training initiative. By browsing this site or submitting an order inquiry, you accept these terms.
Every piece — bracelets, rings, earrings, chokers, interior decor, and custom work — is handmade from upcycled cow horn. Because horn is a natural material, colour, grain, and dimensions vary slightly from piece to piece. These variations are inherent to the material and are not flaws.
Our order form is an inquiry, not a confirmed purchase. Once you submit it, we will contact you — typically within 24 hours — to confirm availability, final pricing, sizing, and payment terms before any work begins. Bulk, custom, and wholesale orders may require a deposit. We reserve the right to decline any inquiry at our discretion.
Prices displayed on the site are indicative starting prices. Final pricing is confirmed during the inquiry follow-up and may vary based on design complexity, material specifications, quantity, and shipping destination. Payment methods and terms are agreed individually per order.
Orders within Kigali are typically fulfilled within 5–10 business days after confirmation. International shipping costs and timelines depend on destination and are communicated at the inquiry stage. Cow Horns Rwanda is not responsible for customs duties, import taxes, or delays caused by third-party carriers.
Because each piece is made to order, we do not accept returns based on natural material variation. If an item arrives damaged, notify us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the damage and packaging. We will assess each case and offer repair, replacement, or credit at our discretion.
All designs, product photographs, branding, written content, and the Cow Horns Rwanda name and logo are our intellectual property. They may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our prior written consent.
When you submit the order form or contact us directly, you may provide your name, email, phone number, and order details. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry, fulfil your order, and communicate with you about your order status. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except trusted delivery partners where necessary to complete your order, or where disclosure is required by law.
